  • I used to like the seasons in New England, but the older I get, the less I like it. I would prefer a temperate climate year round. Based on a quesion I asked, I hear I would like the Mediterranian region the best. One problem with that though, is that I would prefer a less densely populated region.
  • I love all four seasons for different reasons. I have lived in places with harsh changes of seasons and mild. I usually adjust and enjoy wherever I am.
  • I do love hot weather, but at the end of summer I am ready for fall and the quiet and coziness and indoor activites. So, I enjoy the beauty of the four seasons.
  • I've lived in both, and I do miss the variety. In Memphis, where I grew up, we got all four seasons. Winter was cold and sometimes snowy. Spring arrived suddenly one morning in a profusion of green. Summer - hot and sunny - 100 degrees with 110% humidity. Fall - the leaves changed colors and cool mornings left no doubt that summer was history. Now I live on the California coast. The two seasons here merge into one another. On Christmas Day, any year, I look out the window and wonder, "Is it Easter? Maybe Memorial Day. Obviously, it's not Christmas." When last August's temperatures stayed in the high 80's for a couple of weeks, people in Santa Barbara, me included, wilted and withered in the big heat wave. <snicker>. Although I do miss the distinct seasons, when I talk to friends who still live in "Four Seasons" places, I'm glad a winter day here is 55 degrees with a low of 35. (Usually, it's warmer than that.) Summer 75, low 60. All things considered, I vote for the temperate climate.
  • I prefer four seasons because each one has something to give or show me that is unique. I enjoy seeing the snowflakes, hearing and seeing gentle and even hard rains, feeling a warm sun, and seeing the buds that forecast leaves and a new growth and rebirth of plants and many animals in the springtime. Do I like really hot weather? No. Do I like really cold weather with alot of ice or snow? No. Do I like tornadoes? Of course not. But none have ever hurt me, and they come with the territory of four season weather.
  • when i was younger i loved the change of seasons but now i hate the snow. If i could find a place thats 70 degrees all the time Id be there but then id have to deal with all the old people like me
  • I live on the East Coast, so enjoy every season but one. Love the fall foliage, truly enjoy the snow in Winter, and Spring is my favorite cause we know warmer days are coming. Summer is my least fav, as I am not a lover of the heat..
  • i'm from northern ny.lived in georgia 12 years.couldn't stand the heat & no seasons.just moved back. 4 seasons are best.theres no place like home!
  • I love all four seasons - it's good for the soul
  • I like variety, so I'd like to live where there are four distinct seasons.
  • the 4 seasons it would suck being hot all year long
  • I've lived in Hawaii the past 5 years, and while the weather is great often, I miss fall and the occasional snowfall. Christmas is especially weird.
  • Fall is my favorite i live in PA and my favorite part is experienceing a little bit of everthing... minus rail showerz but i love love love storms
  • I would love to live where the seasons were very evident.
  • I love having the change of seasons. Each season has it's own beauty and feel to it; it would be sad to have it hot all the time!!
  • They can be an inconvenience at times but I like them all. But I do admit I don't like the heating bill for the cold months. :-)
  • I don't like cold. Cold makes my parts hurt. I lived in Ohio from 1955 to 2002. Moved to Florida. I like the weather and the water here but its getting too expensive to stay. May go to S. Carolina. It doesn't get real cold there.
  • love having the 4 seasons ...and we do !
  • Warm weather.I was brought up with the four seasons and cold winters.I had to get away from them.
  • G'day Nick from New York, Thanks for your question. I have lived in a place with four seasons all my life and they all have their good points although Canberra winters can be a bit annoying. It would be good to live in a nice tropical climate to experience the difference although humidity offers its own challenges. Regards
  • That's an interesting question for me. I'm from Oklahoma and have lived here all my life with the exception of living in Long Beach, CA for nearly a year. I loved living in Long Beach. I love southern California in general. I hate the dead brown months of winter we have here in Oklahoma. I find it depressing. But, I did notice when I lived in Long Beach, I missed the changing of the seasons. There were mild temperature changes, but not drastic changes. The year I lived there, a freak snow occurred. It was brief. The snow didn't stick. But I was glad to see it. So I guess I do enjoy seeing the seasons change, even though I hate bitter cold weather.
  • 4 season hot all year is not bearable.......
  • i love spring, summer ,and fallbut i cant stand winter past xmas.
  • Since I live in Virginia which gives me samples of every season, I prefer the four seasons to the hot weather. Although I like the hot weather, I do not enjoy it if it is for a long time. Winter and Autumn are great seasons. Especially Fall because it has a nice cool weather which isn't too hot or too cold.
  • I like warm weather all year long. If I want to ski I can go to the mountains.
  • I love having all four seasons. Each season has something special about it that I love. In spring everything starts blooming and it's fresh outside; in summer all the plants are bright and you can walk around barefoot in the grass; in autumn the air is so crisp and refreshing and the trees look magnificent; in the winter I like the cold and the probability of snow. What can I say, I love it all!
  • I love four seasons. We moved to New York from California and one of the reasons was to have four seasons. We love the fall here and the winters are just beautiful out in these woods.
