  • I'm still in college, but the path i chose is about happiness, definately not income, it's architecture by the way.

  • I really needed the income. I like what I do and I believe I do it well.
  • I "chose" by default but discovered I loved my work. Over the years (43 years of working) I have enjoyed almost everything I have done. From this end of the spectrum I would definitely recommend finding work you gruly enjoy. Spending half a lifetime at something you don't enjoy is a miserable way to live. Yes, you can be rich and happy, and yes that's preferrable to being poor and happy. But any combination is possible and I vote for any combination that includes "happy".
  • I haven't chosen a career yet, but the job I have right now was chosen because of income.
