    33 Wins by the '72 Lakers. Don't they also hold the record for the most wins to start an NBA season (19 or 20 in year 2000?)

    That would 33 straight for the Los Angeles Lakers back in '72. Not only is that the longest win streak in the history of the NBA, but it's the longest win streak in the history of pro sports, period.

    Rockets in 93-94 own longest win streak to start a season at 15. They started 22-1 that year.
