I'll assume you're using a brushless motor and applicable controller. The 3 wires on one end mate with the the 3 wires coming off the engine. These are typically gold male/female connectors. If these are not present, they will need to be soldered on, male plugs normally go on the motor. On the other end you should have a wire (actually 3 wires, typically colored brown orange and black), this one plugs into channel 3 of your receiver. The last 2 wires, typically thicker, one black one red, plugs into the battery. The battery connection needs to match the connector on the battery you'll be using. Typically the battery will have a female plug, so the controller will need a male plug soldered on if one is not present. You may want to seek additional advice from your local hobby shop or flying field.
