How can you straighten/curl your hair without straightners/curlers?

    I have naturally curly hair, and the trick I usually use when I need it relatively straight is to just wash it, condition it, and let it dry under a stocking cap.
    That tends to leave it stiff, but works great if you just want to keep curls down (combing your hair into a consistent style every time you wash it works better if you want your hair to be straight all the time).

    As for curling... I'm not sure if there *Is* a way to curl naturally straight hair without some sort of chemical or heat treatment.
