Not always. First off, suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Nothing, NOTHING is worth killing yourself over. If you are suicidal, please talk to someone about it. There are a lot of people who will miss you, regardless of if you think no one cares, there are people who do. As to answer your question. No. People have fallen/jumped from higher and lived. If you did jump, you may just end up paralyzed and spend the rest of your life in a wheel chair. Thats a lot worse than spending the rest of your life being able to use your arms and legs. Please don't try to kill yourself.

Your question is interesting. The unfortunate thing is that people have even fallen from PLANES and survived! So I would say the answer to your question would be no. You would feel alot worse if you attemped suicide and ended up crippled or in a coma or otherwise handicapped and lived to be 90, than if you got some counseling and tried to work on why you have suicidal thoughts, and think of some other alternatives. There are plenty of people out there who would be willing to listen to your problems and talk with you about your situation.

Sorry, this is a morbid question.

-5 downrate for a (para)scientific question? Eek. I wasn't asking if I should do it.

No. I would say it is doing as the Romans did. In a warm tub and opening your veins.

that's a complicated question... It depends on how much you weight, It's possible to drowned yourself in a teaspoon of water if you wanted too... Maybe this can help you: http://www.suicidology.org/

Nooooope. You don't know what happens when you hit...but let's not talk about suicide. Some people may be having ideas.

If you do this, it's a risk, a slim risk of surviving. I Googled it to see if there were any articles of survivors, and yes, it's a possibility. I would hate to survive a jump like that. The reason people jump from the golden gate bridge is because they drown if they don't die on impact. The impact causes the jumper to be rendered unconcious, hopefully. Even if you were concious you would likley be crippled on impact. It must be somewhere around 98% of jumpers who die or higher, can you imagine surviving?
