Help Pleeeeaaase!!! How do you get the window knob off from the interior door panel on a 1996 Ford Mustang? I am in the process of changing my speakers and I am totally stuck!

Ford likes to use a cover over the entire handle. Simply snap it loose at the base of the handle and it should pivot at the knob revealing the screw

In order to remove the window roller you'll need to remove the clip on the back side of the handle or it may screw in from the front. If there is no small round cover on the front of the handle that can be removed to expose the screw then it uses a clip on the back of the handle. They make a special tool for removing these but you can usually get it off with a small flat head screwdriver. Once you've removed the screw or clip, take a t-shirt and roll it like you're gonna snap someone in a locker room. Then, take it and put it behind the arm, sliding it left to right. It will work it's way behind it and work it loose. Sounds weird, but it worked for me.
