Help answer this question below.

OK, my male cat was doing his business in my closets and would not use the box, he is the same cat i got neutered yesterday, he has not come back since yesterday, I am worried about him, is he upset or mad? i hoping he will come back, he is an outside cat

    Usually it is safest to not let a cat out that has had surgery because often they are so stressed that they go someplace to hide and you may not see him again. They could also have a problem after their surgery. I'm sorry he gone. He might come back after he feels safe. I'm hoping the best for you.

    Sure he's mad...but he'll get over it. The business in the closet stunt says it all! Cat version of "sh*t on you, you jerk!" Howewver, if you have treats and good food waiting for him, he'll love you anyway!!

    Surprisingly, cats are prone to carry grudges.. especially after neutering if it's past 5 months of age. Dogs are too, but they adapt more quickly. I've had cats that I felt 'held it against me' for years.

    He'll come back, because he knows where to get free food.
