Considering there are so many Asian-Americans in the comic book industry why aren't there more Asian or Asian-American comic books or characters?

There is an entire genre (anime) out there that got it's start in the Japan.

I think you're forgetting about the whole MANGA/Anime genre..... There ARE PLENTY of Asian comics and Characters...

For the same reason that Anime characters look like Europeans, big blue eyes, blond hair, etc. The only hint at Japanese that exists is the language its spoken in and the Jap themed drama that is appealing to them. I hate anime, but it was pointed out to me by a critic that most all Anime was made by Japs to be as White as possible and still appeal to their local culture. They want to be white. They really do. They try to hard to be Americanized.
