It is greatly overated.
Self-centered ones would likely disagree, but from someone who has seen both sides of the experience, I assure you a loving, open and honest monogamous relationship is light years ahead of the most promiscuous 'player'.
Think about it; someone who genuinely LOVES you, cares about you, and wants to meet your every need and desire, who actually WORKS on finding ways to please you, who with experience in so doing, gets better and better....well, it beats whatever nonsense is purported in all the movies ever made.
Nothing beats a loving relationship with both genuinely unselfish and in love with each other.
The problem today is most have SELF first and foremost on the throne of their life (there is even a magazine of the same title, and I think they should add -ISH to the cover), and this is the main reason for the huge divorce rate in the world.
I never knew how selfish I was until I did.
Never had a threesome.
I would definitely consider one :)
Not had a threesome, but had a foursome. Does that count?!
Some fantasies are best left as fantasies.
I was married to a triplett...does that count by extension (actually, that would be a foursome)
I have had many MFM threesomes. I imagine my new s/o and I will have a FMF threesome sometime in the near future too, but she and I are still exploring one another for the time being ...
I have, Last time was with two young ladies I met in a local video store.
I'm still dreaming...
I have had very many threesomes. Some better than others, but none a bad experiance. I look forward doing more things of that nature with my husband.
Yeah, many times. It was... strange and pleasurable at the same time.
I did. It was ok but not all it cracked up to be. I was sowing oats so to speak, but I hated the akwardness of it...I would not do it again.
Yes, been in one..no, would never do it again thanks
no and i dont think i will ever get involved in one.
I never have. I've always preferred a really good twosome.
Does me, myself and I count. That is very selfish too.
I had the opportunity once, but I was so nervous my pecker would not obey.
Yes, I have had threesomes. They can be fun if all partners understand the situation and what to expect.
As a side note: Unfortunately, it's very common for two people out of the three to hit it off or connect on a deeper level than they do with the third person. This can lead to jealousy or hard feelings, so it's important to keep in mind- especially if you are considering doing a threesome with someone you are currently in a relationship.
Yes, I have been in many a threesome. I've enjoyed nearly all of them. While I am not doing so now, I expect I'll be involved in more in the future.
Me and two others
I have had many threesomes, four of which were with my husband, some before we got married. The first one I had was awkward, as I was young, unexperianced, and really kind of an idoit when it comes to things involving sex.
Since I have matured *some at least* threesomes are a fun way for my husband and I to 'live on the edge' and really add some spice to our relationship. I second curiouscouple95's comment about lying, and cheating - those things will break the trust, and ruin just about any chance you have of staying together afterwards, let alone having another threesome!
If you and your spouse can openly discuss it and have no jealousy it will be great, we have done it 3 times with other guys and it is great watching my wife get off to a higher level than just I can get her! But no lying, cheating or doing any of this behind anyones back!
not on my list of things to do before i die
i have, once. it wasn't planned though (at least not to my knowledge), and one of the women was my girlfriend at the time so i wasn't sure what my boundaries were, so to speak.
...I'm guessing three. It would be nice bit of light fun - especially if I'm the only guy.
It sounds exciting and interesting but the reality is somewhat different.
All three people must be fully comfortable with each other as often their various expectations can be quite different and any denial risks turning off the passion and excitement that has been built up.
Usually, there will be 2 of the 3 who are close/intimate and who wish to invite the 3rd person to participate. This leads to an imbalance in proceedings, determines the energy of the "group" and defines who determines what happens and when.
My mixed experiences have shown me that often the couple who invite the 3rd person are in some way unhappy, imbalanced, frustrated and seek to resolve these conditions by engaging in such activity.
I didn't really know the people I met with and neither did I have enough time to know more about them or what they wanted, before it all happened.
In the end, such engagements rarely lead to sexual fulfilment as there too many variables and desires to try and get right/satisfy, even without the above obstacles getting in the way.
As a side note, the more people you add to such sexual formations, the more you tend to magnify the above, as well as introducing new dynamics to the situation, such as the psychology of the "group" - a can of worms in itself that requires a Masters in psychology in order to successfully navigate yourself around and through its complexities. And lets not forget the danger of health issues that await the careless or ill-informed.
One on one is so much nicer, intimate and in the end, more satisfying in so many ways than the fantasy, the acting out of which rarely lives up to expectations.
No ive never had a threesome but i really want to have one because right now im in a bi curious phase and want to see what its like to have sex with a woman and a man at the same time to see whats better
I had treesomes when I was a teenager and it was good, it was all about sex not deep feelings, no bf/gf relationship but we knew each other and we felt comfortable, I think that it was the most amazing sexual experience I've behind having sex with the person I love.
I haven't,
im only 16 so i have plenty of time to give it a try (;
I have, the FMF kind.
Count me in...
i have been in a lot of threesomes. more than i can count.
I can't do it. Never did & don't want to. My friend had them. She likes them.
I'm a big fan of the threesome. I have had many, and will most likley have quite a few more in my time. It is something that I have done for a number of years with different partners of mine, and now that I am married my husband and I occasionaly enjoy the spoils of a third woman in the bedroom.
This is not a lifestyle choice for everyone, but it is something that works well for us. We have a great trust and understanding between us that allows us to do this an remain satisfied with our relationship. It all comes down to sex is just sex.
Many moons ago! Don't know that I would again though.
Yeah and honestly, they are overrated!
Probably not.
No.
i had once and i did'nt like much because it kinda of hurt having to penis inside of you
i too have had several threesomes, the first was awkward at first cause one of the partners was just not truly into it... we all just partied after realizing that, made it clear we wanted, but not going to force anything. a few days later.. well.... it just happened, and we never looked back, since then i have been in a lot.
Well I am not one of them who have. It may be for some, and that is fine, but I think, even if I was part of one even with my boyfriend I would see it as one of us where cheating right in front of the other. Or I would get jealous. If it was another guy, well, I couldn't handle it because I just couldn't. I don't know how to explain it. I am not even attracted to another male when I have my boyfriend. Anywho my point is, I'd say people who have had 3 somes are probably more comman than you think, but are still not the majority.
I never have and have no desire to. But those who do and have no problem with it, that's fine, too. I just know that I am in a committed, monogamous relationship, and that just doesn't figure in to my equation. I have a friend who had been in a relationship for years and she and her partnered engaged in a threesome...and it destroyed their relationship.
Does a foursome count? I did that the a couple of weeks ago...
guilty..and still smiling
Have them all the time...most are fun, a few are not, and occasionally, the third is informed that it will not work. Why not be honest up front? A threesome takes a leader in the game so there are no ers, ahs, etc....and it should start as soon as the 3rd enters the scene...no warmup talk, a drink if necessary, but limit conversation....conversations ruin more good sex! If you want to talk, do it afterward. AND, as soon as the 3rd arrives, make them feel very comfortable by being aggressive.
I have! It's great!
I had a threesome, and at first it was very awkward you know taking the clothes off and all that. But once that anxiety passed I found it to be verrry pleasurable. It was a fun experienace and we plan on doing it again.
No I haven't either but I would love to try it with two other women since I am bi-curious.
Yep. I have had threesomes many times. I have had Male-Male-Female, Male-Female-Female, and Male-Male-Male. So i've fucked and been fucked.
Each time was different but each time was great.
I never have, no interest.
oh yes. Went away with my g/f and her sister. Her sister got the chance of enjoying what her sister had for a while

You need to get your facts straight! The divorce rate of monogamous couples is far higher than that of swingers. Love is Love, Sex is Sex but Lust is what makes the love and sex work.
