Nobody will ever compare to the job that Anthony Hopkins did. He was just so amazing, and really pulled it off. Nobody will ever compare. That's all I can say. But if I had to choose, I would say Gaspard Ulliel. He played the part of Hannibal in Hannibal Rising, so I think he could pull off a somewhat good Hannibal Lecter as an adult.

I think Crispin Glover would be good. I never saw 'Williard', only the preview, but wow he seems to play the creepy guy really good. And also, I think Sean Penn would do a good job; he has such range.

Not many people can pull off a roll like that. I think Anthony Hopkins did an unbelievable job, and I wouldn't change it at all. I also think that Gaspard Ulliel did a fantastic job. Whoever the casting director was deserves praise, because they casted all 4 movies perfectly.

This is coming from Hannibal's biggest fan.
