Okay im a black girl, 18 im pretty, im a bit overweight NOT FAT!!!, i like white boys but i don't think any near my age would be open to date me or they might be too scared so should i approach one first and tell him straight up i like him or what...

    I'm exactly like you to a tee (appearance, age). I find that you get a bf when you don't try. Just be the best person you can be and love will follow. If you like a guy, be his friend, get to know him. You could also try freshening up your wardrobe or working on your confidence. Do what makes you happy and smile!

    Be friendly, outgoing, and active and you'll meet people - don't try too hard or focus to hard on finding a boyfriend, it just makes you look desperate. You're more likely to find someone when you're not actively looking. Life just works out that way sometimes. :)

    And yea, don't be afraid to take the first step with your friends. There's nothing wrong with a girl asking a boy out.

    yes n no .... most guys like women in shape.. ..some black guys like thick women but if ur overweight they rather u be a white women .. some white guys like skinny women .. so its best if u lose weight n get in shape.. its better if u feel good about ur selves instead of u thinking ( does he think im 2 big 4 him) but if ur cute u can get most guys of all races...... be ur self
