I have a 24" rca xl 100 tv and i do not have the original remote, so i bought a universal remote, i cant seem to get the video channel which is used when a dvd player is plugged in.What channel would that be?

I was watching a DVD on My RCA TV when all of a sudden the picture went to a blue screen, the volume raced to 100 then back to 0. Now the remote doesn't work and the channel +,- on the TV itself bring up the picture menu but you can't select anything

HOW DO I GET MY RCA XL-100 ON VIDEO MODE WITHOUT A REMOTE? THERES NO VIDEO BUTTON OR OPTION ON THE MENU AND I CANT JUST DO IT WITH CHANNEL BUTTONS
