  • Probably not. I expected that would happen after Katrina & Rita, but it’s hard to leave one’s home, especially one with such a unique cultural footprint.
  • I doubt it. some people will continue to go back and build over and over and over no matter what. my neighbors kids live there and she said her son had built a business and had just opened it and had no insurance and when Katrina hit, he lost everything but within months he had gone back and started again and now it's happening again. He's already said..no matter what happens..he will continue to go back. personally that seems stupid to me. YOu lose $50,000 worth of stuff, spend $50,000 to rebuild it and lose it again, and then you turn around and rebuild again in the same spot knowing that more than likely you will ALSO lose it again. I have heard of loyalty but come on.
