I remember....oh, sorry, got carried away. I remember when my children were just little babies. We would use Pampers if we were going out and about, because it may not be appropriate to change nappies quite so often, but around the house they had terry cloth nappies. The manufacturer of the nappies, if I remember correctly was a company called Zorbit (probably short for absorb it), and that is now the name I use for little babies - they have become zorbits.

I used them, but you wouldn't have wanted them in your system. My child had chemo while she was in diapers and her diapers had to be handled carefully, because of the chemo drugs she excreted. One factor that you might use for marketing your service is allergies. If one parent has allergies, the child has a 50% chance of having allergies. If both parents have allergies, the child has a 75% chance of having allergies. My child was allergic to disposable diapers. Every time I put them on her, she broke out in diaper rash in half an hour. If you are careful about what detergents you choose, you might be able to market your diapers to parents whose children are likely to develop allergies.

You can contact the National Association of Diaper Services for more information. They can help you set up your business and determine the prices and expenses you will have, plus license and regulations in your area. http://www.diapernet.org/locate.htm
