There is a documentary on TV tonight about what has become of the Michael Vick pitbulls after their rehabilitation. Will he be welcomed back to the NFL by the public or should he be denied the oppertunity to make millions through sports again?

    Neither. It would be wrong to welcome him back with open arms, like some sort of returning hero, and I don't expect the US public will be particularly forgiving, even amongst the fans of whichever team signs him; however he should certainly be allowed the chance to retake his place in society and resurrect his career, just as any other average Joe who commits a crime and serves his punishment should be allowed to. If his skills are still sharp and a team is prepared to put up with some bad publicity and sign him, then I have no problem with that.
