People can be extraordinarily kind. Will touch me deeply and I am in awe of such sensitivity. Everywhere, not just here.

It's happened a few times in three-and-a-half years, yes. A very humbling experience.

I usually get very shy and modest when that happens.

I always post a {{{Blushes}}} in my reply.

I have had times where I struggled to find the words to reply to some comments. I have received many great ones:-)

Not at all. I ALWAYS reply as soon as I can.
    Even when I get DR.

I KNOW I'm not going to please everyone all the time. I appreciate all the feedback - even to the point where our comments become VERY heated.

For those folks who keep "pouring it on", I respond just as enthusiastically.

When I first started answering Qs on AB, I never acknowledged points. One day I received a comment similar to this:
"You know, Ron, I really like your answers, but I don't get the impression you appreciate those points I give you. Don't you think I should be thanked?"

From that comment forward to this day AND as long as I'm on this site I WILL ALWAYS respond to every comment AND make some remark about the points I get (or get DR for).

Thanks for asking your Q! I enjoyed answering it!

    VTY,
    Ron Berue

Yes, it has happened a few times. Once I even cried.

I only have a cancel and unsubscribe from comments tabs, when I try to leave a comment. I even clicked in the blank areas.

I got a number of "Great Answer"s. It ALWAYS makes me feel good, but it depends on the subject matter on whether it flusters me at all. Normally, it doesn't.

But then, those who declare they love my answers, or how great all my stuff is here, yes... I usually just say "Awww... *BLUSH* Thank you." or something like that. ;-) (What else CAN I say?

I had one who declared she adored me. I said something about her going to get me in trouble with my wife, and she took it WAY seriously, even after I told her I was joking. I haven't heard from her very much since. I try NOT to alienate people (and I hope she STILL likes my answers), but sometimes they just don't get my sense of humor. :-P

Not so much, but I'm still a slap new here, just been a few months. In a sense, I like getting challenged back better, and hoping for a nice open dialogue debate to occur. When done with respect and an open mind, you can learn a lot that way.
