He was honest and could have played you, he probably just liked the attention. Mark it up as a learning experience and consider yourself lucky, he could have used you instead. Besides that, the real one is still out there, stop wasting time and start moving again.

Lilyrose- I hope for your sake he didn't take advantage of the situation. If so, please be good to yourself and remove him from your plans for now. He told you how he felt, at least he was honest, but hopefully he didn't get what he wanted and THEN tell you. God Bless ;)
