very likely one or both of the convergence driver integrated circuits have failed. There is a digital board that drives the convergence IC's which sometimes fails, but it is very rare for this to happen. In any case repair procedure is to replace the driver ic's first and then see if it will converge. These IC's require proper heat sink compound to be applied when installed. This is a job for a skilled TV tech. Once these IC's are changed it is then important to adjust the user adjustable convergence. There also are settings in the service menu which requires a tv tech to do. You may not need to go into the service menu, but in some cases you will have to. There also are resistors on the board around the convergence yoke connectors that should be checked as some of these can be burned and change value. If they are not correct value, it can skew the adjustment range. If you are not skilled at it, call a tv tech.
