  • Pizza crust is not recycling material. It's supposed to be eaten. To reduce the width of your thick crust, ask the pizza shop to put extra sauce on the dough and spread it as close to the edge of the crust's rim as possible. If you don't like the crust, you could break it up and put it out for the birds. They LOVE IT! You could do the same with the ends and crust of the bread you don't eat, too. "Waste not. Want not."
