to-do lists, deep breaths, support from friends and family, schedules, alone time, a cup of tea, a good book, music, yoga, skipping stones...there are a lot of remedies for stress - the relief you choose will ultimately depend on the type of stress you are experiencing.

I like to just kick back and sorta relax to take some time off of what ever is stressin' you out, then once you had some down time, then you can approach what ever is stressin' you out, with a "clear head".(hangout with friends is what i usaully do or reading a good book)

As a method of stress reduction, meditation is often used in hospitals in cases of chronic or terminal illness to reduce complications associated with increased stress including a depressed immune system.
