  • Your local FBI office. They will ask you to pay a fee. They have a broader database, but may have only federal crimes. Your local sheriff's office can let you know about all warrants issued by your state. Usually the sheriff's office has a web site where you can pay by a credit card and request a criminal history check on an individual for about $10-20. There is a little bit of a wait time. If you only need to check the guy/ gal out within your own county, you can go to the local county courthouse and ask to use the public access computer. You will be able to see if he has any county "problems" for free, by learning their computer system. This usually works for a bad guy who stays close to one home. If I knew more about where you lived, I'd have better information for you, but without that information: CALL YOUR COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE. These guys are THE know-it-alls when it comes to where to get criminal history information in YOUR area.
  • Yes there are computer programmes that you can buy. You can just about find the life story from birth of almost anyone this goes from SSN. to speeding tickets, how much they earn, value of their home EVERYthing including any arrest records. You are required to pay a monthly fee but you can pay one off search fees. Nothing is free
  • Both of the above answers are wrong...There is no website that searches for someone that has an open arrest warrant. Only NCIC (National Crime informaton Center) can tell you if someone is wanted, and that informaton is only accessible by law enforcement. Now..the FBI can give you criminal arrest background information on someone (a Rap sheet) but at a fee. With regards to the first answer he mentioned a program that you can download. This is true its called "Auto Track" and it will give you information on a person down to what mailman delivers the mail. But it still will not give information on open warrants, and its not available to the general public.
  • A criminal record is not public inforamtion unles it is a sex offender. So all the programs you talk about are usually for people in law enforcement or legal field.

  • Yes, with some restrictions. The guy with the top answer has no idea what he's talking about. Depending on your local agencies you can access their warrant information online. Some offer it, some don't, it varies. For example, in Orange County, you can visit this site: http://www.ocsd.org/InmateInfo/WarrantDisclaimer.asp This is a check for active warrants in that area. Just do a search for something along the lines of "warrant check" with whatever area you live in, and see if it's available.
