In the Theravada tradition there is Vesak, on the first full moon day in May, which celebrates the birth, enlightenment and death of the Buddha. Other traditions have different celebrations. Zen for example celebrates an equivalent date at dawn on December 8th, the anniversary of the Buddha's Enlightenment on seeing the morning star.
