Since the terms of use on Answerbag is only effective until January 4th, 08, does that mean that we are free to do whatever we want?

Naaa, you missed the boat, they are effective AFTER January 4th, 08... you would have been free to do whatever before then! lol

The terms of use is really just a legal disclaimer. The staff uses it as an excuse for everything, but, to me, its utterly meaningless .
This has been used as a "rules" type statement, and it does contain some of the rules. But, it is in no way shape or form a real guide on how to conduct yourself on AB, unless you plan on "stealing" the material here, or infecting the database with viruses and such.
I do not mean to belittle it, for it is a necessary part of this website, I just think it is more of a mirrored shield, like the one that defeated Medusa...
TO SUM THIS UP>>>>
you can do what you want right now, you could yesterday, and you can do the same tomorrow.
Just dont violate the terms of use...

- Well, to be fair, Ive gone over this issue before, about the rules, and they do their best to be fair, I can see why some things arent written down... they look at past history and content to make a decision.
