Question

Help answer this question below.

Could Al Gore being elected in 2000 actually have turned out worse than Bush's terms in some regards, by giving Tipper Gore, the PMRC, and their views on regulating the preservation of "Family Values", an inside influence in Washington?

It's not the PMRC that would have been worse. It would have been the multiple terrorist attacks that would have devastated the country. Tipper hasn't done the PMRC thing in a while.

Funny how no one on the liberal side of the entertainment industry (which let's face it, IS the entertainment industry) ever mentions the PMRC anymore, isn't it? I remember in the wee hours of the early 90's, they were all up in arms about Tipper Gore. Funny how when Clinton chose Gore as his running mate, all "sins" were forgiven. And to answer the question, at least in part, family values fly in the face of, and wholly undermine, the liberal way of life. It wouldn't have even come up.

If Al Gore had won in 2000 our country would've been devasted economically by Gore's global warming policies.

We probably would've been attacked several times by terrorists before Al "Neville Chamberlain" Gore figured out that negotions with the terrorists are not working.

I imagine it would've gone like this:
    Wayne's World flashback music---
"Chicago, Los Angeles, and Atlanta are gone. We don't mind giving you that. If you promise to stop after New York we will not retailiate......just please don't hurt us Mr. Bin Laden!"

As for Tipper, I don't think advocating family values would've been harmful though.

Well, I honestly don't think anyone being elected other than Bush in 2000 could have turned out worse...what a miserable administration

I doubt it. Al Gore is corrupt, endorses the same violent state terrorism in Iraq, the same threats against Iran, and now you tell me he's a 'family values' niece-molesting elite white male as well. I don't personally see the difference, Ralph Nader all the way.
