  • I think so. I just think people think they'll never get any of those diseases, so they just eat what they want. It's laziness, really.
  • I don't think so. I'm not sure what we could do to educate them though. But I see people eating unhealthy on a regular basis and they don't even seem to know it.
  • No. I have no idea what to eat. It's easy to say "Oh! Fruits and vegetables and Whole Grains!", but I have trouble fitting all that stuff into my diet. I was brought up eating home cooking, and always crave a good steak, or meatloaf, potatoes, corn-on-the-cob, yams, etc. When I go shopping, these are the things I buy.
  • No i dont believe people are educated enough about what is healthy vs what is not. The next time you go to the beach, look around you. There are loads of poeple (literally) there that you can ask.
  • I think they do. The 'food pyramid' has been a part of education for many years. And all the news about how there are more obese people now than ever, how can people ignore it? If people see thier family doctor regularly, they should be informed if their diet is harmful to them.
