Can anyone tell me how to get a foul smell out of the plastic windscreen washer system in a car?

    The smell is most likely caused by bacteria or mold growing in the system. Use a SMALL amount of bleach in some water to fill the washer canister the pump it until empty giving the pump a break now and then.Then refill with washer fluid.

    Try baking soda or ammonia or diluted bleach but with any of these beware of the areas of your car that they could possibly damage. mr Bill
