Are you sure she wants you to come sooner? I'd probably try more foreplay till your both really worked up and then get into sex. I don't know about you, but for my hubby, if I'm into he's way more into it and things come along much quicker. (pardon the pun) I'm not sure on increasing semen, and don't really see why it would matter. You should have plenty of sperm if you're after a baby, and if not it doesn't really make a difference for any women I know of.

Your question contains two parts, i'll address the first one first. There are a couple things you can do to help your self ejaculate sooner. Getting more excited may help, such as watching an adult film before, or during intercourse. Also if you masturbate frequently, or have intercourse frequently, slowing down for a day or two may help in both questions.. If you think you may have a problem with the ammount of time it takes you to reach orgasm, read further.

    from http://www.goaskalice.columbia.edu/1934.html

"If you masturbate, are you able to orgasm? How long does it usually take you to come when masturbating?

Chances are that if you can orgasm and/or ejaculate, you may have conditioned yourself to do so from a certain type of stimulation. If you orgasm or come fairly easily when you're alone, but have the opposite experience when you're with a partner, expressing or showing her or him exactly how you want to be touched may be beneficial.

Do you find that you have a more difficult time climaxing when you're with a partner?

This can result from a subconscious desire to withhold this level of intimacy from or be unwilling to surrender to a partner. For some, it's important to build trust with a partner in order to feel comfortable sharing this experience. Sex therapy can help in this instance.

If you have sexual intercourse, do you experience anxiety or fear that may be preventing you from having an orgasm?

Sex therapists refer to men who are unable to come during intercourse as experiencing inhibited male orgasm or retarded ejaculation. For some, this is caused by anxiety about pregnancy, religious guilt, or other psychological issues. This condition can be caused by alcohol or other drug use, too. Oftentimes, men who have this experience do orgasm through masturbation, touching by a partner, or oral sex. "

As far as the quantity of ejaculate, as I said earlier, slowing down on the frequency of masturbation or intercourse may help, as well as some of the following.

"Don't get me wrong, I know that on the Internet people sell all kinds of enhancement and enlargement pills that don't work. I know that you can't make your penis bigger with pills. But what about ejaculate size? Can vitamin supplements or special "volume" pills make you ejaculate as much as 500% more? Peter North, a man known for big ejaculations, is the poster boy for one kind of enhancement pill. Is there any truth to their claims?

Well, you're correct that a pill is more likely to make you ejaculate more than it is to make your penis grow (which is impossible). However, whatever a pill company's claims are, you can probably do just as well with zinc and lecithin supplements. (Use zinc supplements in moderation; too much zinc intake can be dangerous.) For some guys, these nutrients do have a noticeable effect on ejaculation volume, and they're a lot cheaper and easier to get. In general, stay away from mail-order pills sold by less-than-reputable companies; you really don't know what's in them, and their claims are almost always untrue or at least greatly exaggerated. Finally, on the social responsibility side, you should never do anything to support businesses that advertise via spam or that target people's sexual insecurities.

Why is it that drinking water hours before you masturbate increases the volume of semen?

Good question. I think it's because your body becomes more hydrated overall, so any glands responsible for secreting a watery substance (such as those in the male reproductive system) are able to work more efficiently and have less trouble getting water from the bloodstream. If you're dehydrated, on the other hand, your body will want to conserve water, so these glands will not have as much water available, and you'll ejaculate less.

Are there any vitamins or minerals I can take to increase the volume of my ejaculation? Two I've heard of are zinc and lecithin. Is there any truth to this?

There is a connection between the intake of certain vitamins and minerals and the quality and quantity of a man's ejaculation, not to mention his sexual health in general. Vitamin C, vitamin E, zinc, and essential fatty acids are found in the prostate in high levels, and are all necessary to produce semen. Low zinc levels have been connected to decreased production of seminal fluids, as well as lower testosterone levels. A healthy balance of nutrients is important for maintaining vascular health as well, which improves your ability to achieve and maintain erections. There isn't a need to go popping extra vitamins if you are already eating a diet rich in nutrients, particulary from fruits and vegetables. Essential fatty acids are found in certain kinds of fish (like salmon) and nuts."

    And, From http://www.askmen.com/love/dzimmer_100/117_love_answers.html

"So what are the factors that determine just how much comes out? To begin with, there are those elements that play a role in all other matters of the body: heredity, age, diet, and overall health. While the first two are obviously out of your control, dietary adjustments can improve the volume of your ejaculate.

Amino acids such as L-Arginine and L-Lysine, zinc, and the Horny Goat Weed plant are all said to help up quantity, as is increasing your daily fluid intake.

An overall state of fitness is usually accompanied by good blood circulation, which can also help ejaculation. If you want a specific group of exercises that will target penis performance, start working out your PC muscle."

    Hope this helps!
