Do you believe the phrase " the terrorists hate our way of life" or do you think it's mostly retoric used to inspire fear into someone?

    I think they hate us invading and occupying their countries with the intent to shove our way of life down their throats. Wouldn't you?

    Political inspiration, kinda like, a few innocents die so that mankind may thrive, or to die for your country is to live forever. Patriotic stuff to make war less savage and seemingly more necessary beyond catering to the psycho within.
    I don't believe it...not in the way we're supposed to, but I suppose they must, since they blow shit up. :/

    Some terrorists do, and think that only the destruction of Western culture or its conversion to Islam will please God. Others just want us out of the Middle East and Israel to be destroyed.
    When spoken by a politician, it's just a shorthand way of getting support for their policies.
