Why has my cat suddenly become super-attached to me now I'm pregnant? She curls around me every time I sit down and won't leave me alone, as well as trying to lick my face all the time. It's cute, but a bit intense!

Is your cat spayed or neutered? It has to do with hormones and if it is a girl she could actually go through a fake pregnancy with you and produce milk and everything. If a boy then he is enjoying your hormonal balance with his. good luck on the new baby.

Because pregnant women produce a chemical pheremone that smells like catnip to a cat and therefore they want to lick you all over your face. Heck, I dont know,, that was the first thing I could think of.

Its because of the fact that youre pregnant. Cats can sense when there is going to be a new addition to the family and some people say that cats even know the sex of the baby before you do.Being pregnant triggers certain protective instincs in cats and they feel that they have to help keep the baby out of harms way.
