i posted my story on here about how a dog owner stood and watched as my cat ginger was so cruely tossed and ragged about by a staffie, in my garden. ahe was 18years old my be you have read my story and after the poilce will do nothing yet 4 of the laws refer to dogs killing cats ive contaced the local paper thats running my story, also i contacted defra and with their information am writing to the minster for sustainable food, farming and animal health, lord Rooker, whom emforced new laws about "getting tough on irresponsible dog owners", find this infornation on http://www.defra.gov.uk/news/2008 you will see one of his key points are---if a dog injures another persons ANIMAL and the owner of the dog reasonably believes they could be injured if intervened, then the dog could be judged as being dangerously out of control; yet nothing can be done by the poilce, and theres the dog act 1871 and the clases act 1847 and the dogs act (DDA) 1991and the animals act 1971 which all relate to dogs attacking/fearing/any persons or ANIMAL all then laws yet the police doont want to know well i promise all you cat owners out there thats suffering like me I WILL CHANGE THIS, even if it takes me the rest of my life i will get justice for my ginger, i want to hear all your storys of your cat being attacked mail me your story justice4gingerandothercatlovers@yahoo.co.uk we all need to stick togather as i will be taking all the storys to Lord Rooker at the house of commons i promise you i will get justice even if it takes the rest of my life.maol me at the yahoo address

My 20 year old mitzy was killed in her own home by a staff that lives next door, she had her rear end ripped to bits, there was bladder damage, her tail was hanging off and her hind leg was damaged, she was as you can imagine in shock and didn't survive the ordeal,. The vet tried to do what she could but it was kinder to let her sleep. The owners of the dog who had been told on a number of occasions that the dog was in my garden, out in the avenue showed no concern at all, they didn't even knock on the door to see how my mitzy was. The police told me this was not a criminal offence but the dog handling team would be going to see the owner and it has been logged and in the future if the dog is seen out alone l must report it giving them the log number so the dog will be picked up straight away. It is not only the fact that an animal has been killed but it is the trauma you feel yourself holding your pet in your arms while it is in such a terrible state and the grief you feel when they die, animals are part of your family and if they are killed by another animal in there own surroundings there must be something that can be done to protect them and stop unresponsible owners.
