  • You most certainly may perform in both capacities, as long as you are properly licensed and you keep your continuing ed courses current. However, licensed Realtors cannot originate (or profit from) any FHA loan on any transaction in which they are otherwise involved. Most States do allow you to originate loans for your real estate transactions. Although I have been "duly dually licensed", I make it a point not to originate loans on any of my own real estate transactions. It gives the appearance of possible improprieties, so I just don't do it.
