How do I add transmission fluid to 1992 Mercury Marquis?

    I presume the Mercury Marquis is the same as any other auto car on the road. When you check out the dip stick level on the car, make sure the motor is warm. Just before checking the level on the dip stick, shift your gear stick to drive- nutural and reverse with your foot on the brake, then check the fluid level while the car is running, in nutural with the hand barke on hard. If you do find the fluid level is down. Stop the motor. Place a funnel down the dip stick hole after removing the dip stick and top up the auto trans fluid. As far as I know, that is the only place you can add trans oil in your auto.
