I'm going to share something with you - I've been saving it for years but at this stage I kind of know I will never bother...
Go to the Roulette Wheel and observe the players carefully. What you are trying to ascertain is which one is using a 'system'
Now - 'systems' NEVER work at Roulette.
When you find the guy/gal - bet OPPOSITE to them. If they bet red, bet black. Odd? you bet evens...
Please let me know how you get on if you decide to give this a go.
The only other advice I have for you is don't regard any money you win as 'free' money and bet it all back. Decide your limit before going in to the Casino. Put any winnings in a seperate pcoket and walk -RUN- when you lose the original stake.
Good luck : )

Thanks so much! Have you ever tried the Roulette anti-system system before?

i have something similar! i find the book users, the number watchers, and i usually bet opposite. only on the side bets (red black, odd even) i bet 100 dollars, if i lose it, i double it. if not, i let it ride. I have never lost. i make money on the roulette table. always. im up over 10 large at this point...shhhhh

decide how much you will spend...take only that much. Leave all credit cards, bank cards, checks, EVERYTHING in which you can access cash at home or in motel. then when the cash is gone, walk out. Gambling sucks you in and before you know it you have maxed out credit cards, bank accounts, EVERYTHING and you are addicted and in major trouble. I KNOW.. FROM EXPERIENCE. Something about the spinning machines and the bells and the sounds..

If you get up, don't start going too heavy with the house money. Just walk away.

Several:

1. Take only as much as you can afford to lose. Leave all additional sources of ready cash at home.

2. Avoid the slots. Most of them are sucker bets unless you just want a bit of entertainment. If you want to actually win something from time to time, stick with the table games.

3. Eat at the buffet. A lot of people bash them, but they're really the best value as far as food goes.

4. Remember to tip the cocktail waitress. $1 per drink is standard.

5. When playing table games, stick with the ones with the lowest house advantage. Baccarat, Blackjack and Spanish 21 are good choices.

6. Play ONLY your initial stake. Any winnings should go directly into your pocket, never back into the machine or onto the table.

7. When your initial stake is gone, whether you're up or down on the day, GO HOME.

blackjack has a very high house advantage. only 17% chance to beat the dealer. the less decks, however, the better your odds, but the higher the cost. just some info... I deal at night ;-}

Think of it as going to an amusement park, decide how much you are willing and able to spend. Stick to that limit. Don't expect to bring any of it home, consider it as being spent just like you were buying tickets or something. This way the worst thing that can happen is you spent that predetermined amount of money and had a good time. If you manage to get ahead and have the self discipline to walk away, all the better. Don't go over your limit! If you don't trust yourself follow the guidance of others here and leave credit cards, ATM cards, checks, etc. at home.
I once took $1,500 to gamble with, got up by $1,000 on the first day, the next morning I mailed my original $1,500 to my home address and played with the remaining $1,000 on the second day. I lost it all. I sure wanted that $1,500 back to gamble with, but it was on the way to my house. Good thing. Had a good fun trip and lost nothing gambling.

Thanks! I like that way of thinking about it. I thick my predetermined amount would be something like 20 dollars :P
