  • Being passionate about a belief is when you strongly believe it and HOPE others believe it too. But you don't demean or mistreat others because they disagree. Forcing a belief on others is when you start to insult people, or even not respect their right to disagree and still be an intelligent person. Snide comments, and insults are signs of being too controlling. I find that as long as you treat everyone with respect in a conversation, and you do as much listening as talking, and you at least attempt to empathize with the person, people are more prone to listen and empathize with you.
  • To passionately expressing a belief is to express a belief with passion at the most opportune time. An example would be the 3-D approach: develop friendship, discover stories and discern the appropriate timing. To "force" it is to express a belief without the due considerations.
