Is it okay for an anemic person to work a graveyard shift?

    Of course.

    The only thing that might be affected is your vitamin D which is obtained by exposure to the sun. However, it does not require much exposure to the sun for the body to produce enough vitamin D and a graveyard shifter does drive home when the sun is up.

    If you are worried about it, take a megavitamin. For that matter, taking a good megavitamin is good practice all around.

    I worked graveyards for 15 years and suffered no problems from it other than my neighbors waking me up in my sleep dagnabit!
