  • You have no legal justification that would result in the ticket being dismissed. If you have since gotten some sort of medical waiver that allows you to have the tint, a judge may be sympathetic and dismiss the ticket, but he does not have to. Are you sure that you can get a medical waiver for window tint in Iowa? In most states you cannot. The laws against window tint are there to ensure safe operation of the vehicle. Window tint obstructs the drivers view. This would be similar to someone who has partial blindness being issues a waiver for the eye test. This does not happen because the disability prohibits the ability to drive safely. Thus, I would guess tint is not waiverable (although I don't know Iowa law specifically).
