Got a 1990 mazda Protege. been standing for about 2 yrs, now won't start. No spark, replaced distributor and still no spark.. turns fine though. any suggestions?

  Hi, I'm needing some help with my 99 mazda protege. The headlights seem to work whenever it feels like it (low beams) so I have to constantly use my high beams. What could be the problem and is it expensive to fix?? I'm tired of pissing everyone off!
