  • Rabbits, unless they are spayed or neutered, should always live separately, even same sex rabbits as often they will fight or try to establish dominance as they grown older and mature. If you are breeding them, they must stay separate, as they need to be stress-free and quiet so that nothing happens to the growing litter inside. And it is hard to keep an eye on how much she is eating or not eating if there are two rabbits sharing a cage. Or if you need to supplement her diet, it would be near impossible to do with two rabbits in the cage. And she shouldn't be given any veggies once the kits are born or while they are with her, as they need to be about 4 months old before they can eat fresh veggies.
