Prospect Park is 4 blocks from my house in Brooklyn...last one we had was Bob Dylan on 8/12, but it wasn't free...

Yes, we have two excellent venues that provide free concerts. I usually go, but this last three months I haven't been able to get out, due to being attacked by a series of skin infections.

There is only one place I know of for free concerts around me. In May of every year, Nascar racing comes to charlotte for an event called Speed Street and I couldn't care less about racing but for 3 days in a row, they have free concerts at night. I'm have seen 3 Days Grace (twice), 3 Doors Down, Seether, & Chevelle all for free...you don't get much better than that.
