If/When you are/were looking for your religion and you had no religious influence when growing up, how did you decide which religion is right for you?

Ahhh... WONDERFUL question! I tend to believe if I was born in a middle eastern country I may very well believe as middle easterners. Being born in the good ol' U. S. of A. my parents saw fit to indoctrinate me into their Christian religion. That is all well and good. I'm sure they thought they were doing the right thing. (Just as parents all over the world think they are doing the right thing today.) I believe everyone comes to a point in their lives where they begin to question what they have been taught as "the one true way". At that point it is each persons own responsibility to research and decide for themselves which religion/belief system (or not) works best for them.
