76 Ventura-Drove 20 mi on highway. When I took the exit & decellerated car started to idle rough & tried to cut off. Parked. It sat for 7 hours. It started. Let off the gas, died - several times. Then it would even turn over. NOTHING. Any ideas?

Sounds like you are not getting any gas, are you out? (just kidding) ha ha Might be the gas pump or fuel filter. Check your plugs too, just for fun. Since it would not turn over, you may have run your battery down trying to start it or the battery could be bad as well. How are the battery cables?

Hi Boadicea! Yes, it has gas. hahaha full tank as a matter of fact. As far as not turning over, it wasn't from repeated trying. I had driven probably 10 blocks - was pulling out of a parking lot, and then it stalled. At that point, turned the key, and NOTHING happened. Had to push that big steel monstrocity into a parking lot... with no power breaks and now pawer stearing. No nothing.
