What Is the charge of "Assault with Intent to commit Sexual Abuse" In Iowa My daughter 14 was assulted by her boss 27 male and they just arressted him a couple of days ago with this crime?

the state has been kinda jerken us around. They set a trial date and then supended. We are currently waiting for a new date. We are patiently waiting for are justice system. The real kicker is this guy is trying to get his citizenship to the USA he is from Lebanon?????

Believe me I loss alot of sleep snd still do, Although I am so pround of my daughter to come forward so quicky, with such a difficult tramanic crime against her. That was of NO GUILT ON HER PART! even though she feels guilty at times.Because she asked him to come in and stand at the porch while she ran down stiars t get so clothes for her mothers weekend. She had told him previously shes scared of the dark. The feelings I have are a roller coster. But I am their for he sny time and any way, God Bless her. Although I am woundering how serious is this charge. I was expecting spmething like Rape???

There doesn't need to be a beaten and battered 27 year old. That doesn't necessarily help the family or the girl to heal.

Perfect answer just what I was looking for. Thank You. Her injuries included about a fist full of her long hair,Bruising mostly arms, Scrathces, Broken neckless's,she through do glass Items at him and than when we press the police he started a smear campaign. Like she does drugs, she's a whore, etc. just awful things that has emotionall taken a big toll! She is a beatoful 14 yr old that does no none of those she is very sweet, but living life scared?? I don;t know how to help her.........

What I would do is move away. I know it sounds terrible, but when there is this kind of injustice, you might just want to leave it all behind. Sometimes the move could just be across town, keep the same job, but have new neighbors and school.

I think age 14 is way too young to be out in the workplace. Maybe a babysitting job would be better. Here where I live, the minimum age for getting a work permit is 16, and it has to be approved by the school.
