  • Yes as they are talking about doing for the Chinese medal winners. It's possible to tell if they are 13-14 years old and NOT 16 years old:-) It should be interesting if they do.
  • They can within a certain range. I am not sure if using the hormones that they do would change bone growth rate as it does with the rest of the body. I am not too sure that the IOC will be willing to have a major incident over the tests on the Chinese girls. Can the test be accurate enough to say if a girl is 14 or 15. The Gymnasts are required to be 16 in the year of competition which means if a girls birthday is December, she could still legally compete the previous January, when she is only just 15.
  • yes. But I belive that if you can cut one down and count the rings it would be more effective.
