    I once worked in a steakhouse and found out that the cooks liked to play around a lot on the cooks' line. One told me that he launched a raw 22 oz. ribeye at another cook. It bounced off of his hot sweaty head and landed on the grill. They cooked it up and served it as if nothing ever happened. I was told that they "never waste meat". Another time, a raw steak was launched and landed in the grease bucket (a large bucket full of grease and meat residue they put under the grill and scrape wastes into). If you have ever seen what old steak and hamburger grease mixed with fat chunks looks like, you'll understand how putrid it really is. Since they never waste meat, the cooks then scooped it out of the full grease bucket and put it on the grill. Served it as if nothing had happened.
