  • Contrary to what you believe, small business will see a decrease on their capital gains. Over time you will see a increase in jobs, if he gives tax breaks for companies that stay here instead of shipping overseas to pay lower wages. People aren't going to see taxes go up unless you are making over $250,000. I don't know why you think McCain will take care of the bottom half, they haven't in the last 25 years. McCain says we are better off now then 4 years ago. Who the hell is we? People are losing their homes, can't afford health care, working more hours for less pay. People can't afford one home he has 7, take a look where. For the life of me all these folks working two jobs and still have a hard time making it would vote for someone who plans on keeping things as they are. Believe what you will but for God sake at least take a deeper look than what is written. http://hnn.us/articles/8301.html
  • Please also consider: most of the additional people hired with the tax dollars will produce little to nothing. These won't be counted as “jobs lost” but in reality they are. A person fully employed doing absolutely nothing is in fact worse than having them unemployed.
  • There is no way of knowing so it's best to just sit back, smoke a cigar, enjoy time with family and watch the cubs win the pennant. Nothing we can do about it till we get there and no way of knowing in advance, so worry less enjoy life more :) cheers
  • Soooo.....you believe everything that McCain is saying? The man doensn't even know how many properties he owns. He is so out of touch the American people. The economy if fine???? The Obama Tax Plan The Wall Street Journal | August 14, 2008 By JASON FURMAN and AUSTAN GOOLSBEE Even as Barack Obama proposes fiscally responsible tax reform to strengthen our economy and restore the balance that has been lost in recent years, we hear the familiar protests and distortions from the guardians of the broken status quo. Many of these very same critics made many of these same overheated predictions in previous elections. They said President Clinton's 1993 deficit-reduction plan would wreck the economy. Eight years and 23 million new jobs later, the economy proved them wrong. Now they are making the same claims about Sen. Obama's tax plan, which has even lower taxes than prevailed in the 1990s -- including lower taxes on middle-class families, lower taxes for capital gains, and lower taxes for dividends. Just where are you getting your information?
  • There will be many. There was an article in a paper, and I can't remember which one, about the number of companies planning on moving and becoming foreign corporations if Hussein wins. I'll try to find it.
  • A good number will. ------ Perhaps he should cut taxes and add to the $10 trillion debt.
  • For your own good my friend. Read the constitution. I came all the way to Europe but do not regret it. Appreciate America My friend and VOTE THE DEMOCRATS OUT
