Help answer this question below.

I have a 7 year old Jack Russell. She has always compulsively licked the ceramic flooring and now she has started to compulsively lick the air. In other words, she just sits there, looks at you and makes the licking motion. Any help would

    LOL my male Cavalier King Charles does this - he scratches his belly and licks his nose at the same time and also sometimes just licks the air!! I'd be interested to see the answers. It's probably because she likes the tastes and smells. My female Cavalier doesn't do it but the male has some very odd habits!
