  • Yes, as they drop the eggs out or other parts and it can be anywhere they are or if they share the same food. So if they share same space or food, it's likely they both have them. You can get dewormers from a vet, some feed supply places, but you do need to know the exact weight of your animals. What we used to do is to save watermelon and pumpkin seeds and grind them up, and feed 1 spoonful each in some wet food to all our cats and dogs twice a year and we never had a problem with worms.
