Question

Help answer this question below.

A few years ago, I found I'd become allergic to aspirin and, subsequently, ibuprofen. Does anybody know of any other pain-killers that work and that don't contain either of these two substances (and preferable chemical-free ones)?

Both of these pain reducers are also blood thinners, and if that's what's causing the reaction, you may be limited in your choices. Tylenol (acetamenophin) is also a blood thinner as well as most other non-prescription (and many prescription) ones. Your best bet would probably be to see a doctor and see what they suggest. They'd know a lot more about the topic than many of us on Answerbag :)

I suggest seeing a doctor! They will know a lot more than anyone here can offer you.

that being said, have you tried Aleve? it uses naproxen sodium and works by blocking the production of chemicals in your body called prostaglandins (for a short while) that is part of what causes pain and inflammation.
