My ex and I went to see Doom a looong time ago. We were both totally drunk and kept having to walk a mile to pee every two minutes. But at least you can smoke whenever you want at the drive in....

A couple months ago. There is one in Scottsdale called the Scottsdale 6. I wish they had them everywhere. I'd prefer a drive in any night over a movie theater.

As I recall, it was about 1983 ("Dragonslayer"). By the mid-Eighties, they shut down Rustic Drive-in, where I'd seen films since I was 3-4 years old in the early Fifties. I have such fond memories of our family going to the drive-in! Some of my best movie memories are there; I particularly recall "Jason and the Argonauts", which I have seen more than 100 times since then.
